about

I can recall the first time I seen this outfit, it was in Tacoma, WA from whence they hail. I knew Gwen the bass player casually, she seemed "disagreeable" and somewhat in your face, a real "pip" I wasn't sure if she could play or was all attitude? (she can). Joe the singer/songwriter "talent of the group", has managed to create a sound of familiarity without sounding like everything else! I was invited to help "produce" this record by the "Tasty Two", but an altercation early in the session with the drummer*, rendered me most uncomfortable, distant and somewhat disappointed as I was looking forward to it and it was ruined. The sound of this effort is courtesy of great Seattle studio owner/producer Don Farwell, who managed to harness the band regardless of insubordinate activities at the sessions. Though the trek up Rock Mountain is a tough hang, expect great things from Trees & Timber, for time is on their side...Listen up!

about

Trees and Timber Tacoma, Washington

Aggressive Pop Supreme, with a generous side of deliciously sweet hooks, luscious lines, and juicy rhythms.

We would love to put you into a melody induced coma and dissect your ego, piece by piece.

Now set right here, relax, and count slowly backwards from ten...

"Maybe in America, it's not cool to play guitar well."
